On behalf of the Istanbul Psychoanalytical Association, we extend our deepest sympathies on the passing of the esteemed Marilia Aisenstein.

 Marilia Aisenstein, who played a pivotal role in guiding us through the founding and development of our association, profoundly touched the lives of our members and candidates, deeply influencing their journeys to becoming analysts.

 We fondly remember Marilia, who once shared with us that, as a psychoanalyst, the greatest joy in her work came from helping those who had lost their vital energy. Her full and dedicated life, marked by profound compassion, cherished friendships, and invaluable contributions to the field of psychoanalysis, has left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
